This Could Change Your Life

In our family, we frequently declare that something we buy or get as a gift is going to be life-altering.

"This is going to CHANGE MY LIFE," I'll announce dramatically* while admiring my new stretchy bowl cover or lash-building mascara or auto-dispensing laundry detergent.

I know some blogs have "Friday Finds." But I had room on my page list for another, well, page, and since you know on Guilty Chocoholic Mama it's NOT going to be craft projects or gardening tips, I thought I'd use this, well, page to pass along info on random items that might affect your life for the better.

No, no, no, I'm not getting paid to tell you about any of these. But if they improve my life somehow, maybe they'll do the same for yours. (BTW: if they do, will you let me know? That would really make my day. Thanks!)

These little flat-bottomed crispy taco-shell "boats"
will change Mexican Monday or Taco Tuesday
FOREVER. For the better.

Don't go through the upcoming s'more season without these!
Maximum marshmallow interior = maximum marshmallowyness.
The only thing better is a homemade marshmallow.
Which is not my Next Thing for today...and probably not yours, either.

Since I mentioned this in my page ramblings,
I might as well throw this Purex "auto-dosing" laundry detergent on here.
Flip the lid, turn the bottle over, and your laundry is detergented.
I am a very impatient person, easily annoyed by huge life hassles
like having to actually measure detergent, so I'm pretty happy with this.

*My family would argue that I do EVERYTHING dramatically.

  1. Your little comment about "everything" at the bottom made me smile.

    1. Aw, thanks, Laura...I'm glad! Brutal honesty and all that...:)

I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to tell me what you really think. Years ago, I explained to my then-two-year that my appointment with a counselor was "sort of like going to a doctor who will help me be a better mommy." Without blinking, she replied, "You'd better go every day." All of which is just to say I've spent some time in the school of brutal honesty!
